Questions about usage
What counts toward the signing allowance?
A document uses the signing allowance when you send it for signing. Creating a draft does not use that allowance. A document with several signers counts as one document.
How are documents from templates charged?
Creating a document from a reusable template counts once, regardless of its number of fields. Free includes five per month; API Sandbox includes ten test documents. Paid standard plans charge $0.10 for each document created from a template. Sending the result for signing also uses the signing allowance.
What happens when I exceed my allowance?
Free and Sandbox stop the action at the relevant limit. Paid standard plans allow additional sends at the rate shown for the plan. Enterprise uses agreed terms.
Do signing allowances increase with team size?
Pro and Business have a per-user monthly base price. The included signing allowances are currently per workspace and do not increase when you add users.
Where can I see my current plan?
Open Billing in your workspace to see your plan and recorded usage. Contact us about a plan change or custom terms.
How does test mode work?
Sandbox usage has separate counters and a standard allowance of ten document sends and ten documents from templates. It is excluded from live usage charges. Test documents do not receive trusted timestamps.
