Before you connect

You need a Korala account with Owner or Admin access. Your assistant works with real workspace documents. Documents you create from templates count against your plan.

1. Add Korala in ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, enable Developer mode in Settings. Availability depends on your plan and workspace policy.
  2. Open the connections page and create a connection named Korala.
  3. Enter https://api.korala.ai/mcp as the connection address, then continue to Korala to sign in.

Assistant menus can change. Your organization may also restrict connections. Check the current connection instructions if your screen differs.

2. Choose what your assistant can do

Sign in to Korala and check the workspace, assistant name and permissions. Continue only if you started this connection from your assistant. Confirm your identity if Korala asks.

  • View documents and templates: read workspace records.
  • Prepare documents: create drafts, add recipients and place fields.
  • Create and edit templates: manage reusable templates, including existing workspace templates.
  • Send and void documents: send requests or void documents. Leave this off for your first try.

3. Try a document task

Enable Korala in your conversation, then try:

“List my Korala templates.”
“Prepare our volunteer agreement for Sam Chen. I’ll review it before sending.”

Open the draft in Korala to check the content, recipients and fields. To use an existing PDF, attach it in your assistant. If the assistant gives you a Korala upload link, add the PDF there and return to the conversation.

Manage or disconnect the connection

Open Settings → AI Assistants in Korala. Review the connection and choose Disconnect to revoke its access. Documents you created remain in the workspace.
