1. Choose where to import
Open Documents for a document you want to prepare, or Templates for a reusable source. Choose Import from Google Drive.

2. Connect Google and select a file
Connect your Google account if prompted. Choose a Google Doc, PDF or Word file from the file picker. Your connection belongs to you; it does not give everyone in your workspace access to your Drive.
3. Supply any document values
If a document contains variables such as {{client_name}}, enter a value for each one. Use Leave blank when you intend an empty value. A template keeps its variables for later use.
4. Review the PDF
Check every page before confirming the import. Pay attention to tables, images, headers and content from other Google Docs tabs. Page breaks can differ from the source.
5. Prepare the imported copy
A document starts as a draft. Add its signers and check field placement on the final PDF before sending. A template becomes a reusable source for future documents.
If an import needs attention
- The source changed during import
- Finish editing in Google, then start a new import and review it again.
- Your Google connection is unavailable
- Open Settings → Integrations → Google Docs and Drive to review the connection. Reconnect if requested.
- The PDF layout looks wrong
- Correct the source and import again before placing fields or sending the document.
Disconnecting Google stops further work through that connection. Copies already created in Korala remain available.
